  According to a recent Billings Gazette article, the Tumbleweed Runaway Program is slotted to receive a $900,000 federal grant administered by the Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families enabling the non profit to provide housing and transitional programs for homeless youth.

  The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has recently announced the city of Minot as the recipient of Brownfields grant funds totaling $600,000 for the assessment and repair of damaged downtown properties resulting from the 2011 flood of the Souris River.
